what is service order

Hi all,

While I am creating meter reading order for particular installations , then inside meter reading order ( EL31) service order has been generated.

What this service order ?

What is the purpose of this ?

Pls let me know.

HI Indu,

In Customizing under Device Management ->Meter Reading-> Basic Settings-> Define Control Parameters fir Meter Reading Data Processing, you can configure the system to create a service order or service notification for the move-in meter reading (provided that plausible meter readings do not already exist for the metering devices). You can establish this settings separately for each division.
