bussiness content activation Urgent

Hi guru,

how to activate standard cube in business content, i am going though activation of 0PP_C01,0PP_C03,0PP_C05 What are the option i am check.

a. At the top of the right frame, choose Grouping and select In Data Flow Before OR ???????.

b. At the top of the right frame, choose Collection mode and select collect automatically.

c. In the left frame, select Object types.

d. In the middle frame, expand InfoObject Catalog and double-click on Select Objects.

hi Priya,

1. right frame choose collection mode for 'manual'.

click 'source system assignment' (yellow box X), make sure source system r/3 is marked.

2. left frame 'object types', middle frame 'infocube' and expand 'select objects', and choose 0PP_C01 and 'transfer', it will go to right frame.

3. right frame choose grouping 'only necessary objects'.

system will collect objects, after finish, click 'install'->install.

4. repeat step 3 with grouping 'in dataflow before', after that grouping 'in dataflow afterwards'.

repeat step 1-4 for 0PP_C03 and 0PP_C05.

still i am not clear , please explain detail

1. 0PP_CO1 Grouping :'only necessary objects' and install

what is the necessary of repeat step 3 with grouping 'in dataflow before', after that grouping 'in dataflow afterwards'.

means 3 time activation of same cube 0PP_c01

please briefly explain

hi Priya,

no no, 1st will activate cube itself and infoobjects, catalog etc. 2nd will activate update rules, infosource etc. 3rd for query, web template etc. this is to activate the objects separately to reduce time consuming and allocate error if any. please read reply in your previous posting how the grouping works.

repeat step 1-4 for 0PP_C03 and 0PP_C05.

which cube require for 1.'in dataflow before',

Hello Priya,

1.Once you select the cube(for eg: 0pp_c03) from the object types "infocube", transfer it. Now it will seen on the right frame. YOu can select the "only necessary" objects grouping. Install in background.

this will install all chars, key figures etc used in cube.

2.Now change the grouping to "dataflow before". again from the object types, select infocube(0pp_c03), tranfer to right pane, install in background.

this will install update rules, infosources etc.

3. Now change the grouping to "dataflow afterwards".again from the object types, select infocube(0pp_c03), tranfer to right pane, install in background.

this will intall the queries etc.

4. Repeat steps 1,2,3 for other cubes also.

all cubes need the same steps, perhaps

5. right frame choose grouping 'in dataflow afterwards', system will collect objects, after finish, click 'install'->install.

repeat the same from step 2 choose infocube 0PP_C03

repeat the same from setp 2 choose infocube 0PP_C05.
