Workflows in WAITING status

I have a large number of workflows with one task in WAITING status that should have executed.

There are no entries on the tRFC queue, no dumps, no lock entries,SWWDHEX and RSWWERRE are running; it is not a wait step and should just have executed.

1) Is it possible to force the tasks to continue.

2) What could have caused this?

Hi Tony,

Background or dialog step?

Does it have a requested start?

In the technical view of the work item can you see a menu option for "Instance Linkage"?

Do the workflow log details give any errors/warnings/unusal messages - for this step, at the subflows/workflow levels above?

Hi Jocelyn,

My mistake: the step was a wait steo and the background restart job had fallen over.

All OK now.
