cAN neone xplain the difference between in viewing stocks in CO09, MD04 and MMBE.

Hi,

Let me tell you the difference with one simple example......

Let's Say your current PHYSICAL Stock at Storage location is 100 Qty

Your Confirmed open order ( The qty is confiremed ) is for 25 Qtys

Now if you receive the order of say 110 Qtys..... And created that order.... So what will be the statuses... in different reports

CO09 : This is basically availability check report and it will give you total received and Total issue quantity, Here in one column you will get ATP quantity, This is the quantity upto which a sales order can be confirmed and it doesnt mean the actual physical quanity in Storage location. Actual qty may be greater than this.

MD04 : This is stock requirement list. and here you will find the stocks requirement for either the production or for procurement. The Quantity under Rec/Req tab of CO09 will match with this.

MMBE : this will show you the actual physical stock at particular location and its characteristic like whether it is in QI or Unrestricted.

In MMBE , you can see the Unrestricted , Blocked , Returns ,Quality Inspection Stock against the Plant & Storage Location.

In MD04 , it will show you the Required Qty as well as Available Qty.Here you can also see the Document number where the stock has been assigned and still Pending for PGI .Here you can see whether the Planned order & Production Order has been created against the MTO Sales Order.

In CO09 , here you can see as per the Checking rule.It means ,you can select & see whether the Stock is assigned to MTO Order , Consignment Order , Project ,Delivery.
