UWL WEB GUI not working

I have configured UWL on EP SP16 . web dynpro based workitems work properly but ITS based (WEBGUI) work items are not wotking. It says 404 - resource not found.

But if we change the iview UWL - Launch SAP transaction and chnage the GUI TYPE to WINGUI, the same work item works fine and where as WEB GUI doesnt wotk. Its not a ITS URL problem or anything because when we preview the same iview, we can see WEBGUI based txns.

I have checked the UWL.log file also, and it says

(Item) Item is missing from the UWL persistent cache #

We have raised OSS also but no help.. please help if anyone has encountered this problem

which tranasaction u launch using ITS so u get 404 - resource not found.

and one mor thing which version of ITS u used?

Hi,

we are using ITS 6.2 external ITS and if i use UWL - Launch SAP transaction Iview from content delivered by sap in WEBGUI mode.. it works fine. (preview of this iview and transaction se38 or anything)

but the workitems are not opening

ok but when ur GUI type is SAPGUI then ur UWL iview is working and when it is WEBGUI than u get 404 error.

WHEN u launcg UWL iview from SPGUI than which transaction is exctully used.

pls pecifi the transaction so i can help u.

u have to create a service for that tranasaction UNDER ITS so from ITS it's works,

If i use SBWP in ITS and execute the work item it works.

i m saying this for any workitem. Not a single workitem (say normal Approve and reject ) also doesnt work in WEBGUI.

but when i preview the UWL - Launch SAP transaction.. in WEBGUI mode using any transaction it works.

This confirms ITS settings are correct.

u meen to sys that when u launching tranasaction from ITS than execute the workitem it's work.

but when u launch it from portal with webgui iview it's not working.

strange!!!!!!!

which logon method in portal u r use for ITS system.

if u r using Saplogonticket than make sure that fully qualified domian name is assign to ITS host i.e host.domain.com
