Hi Phani,

eCl@ass is kind of an international standard for material/product data classification. It is not directly related to SAP remote system fields, but an add-on to classify your records in MDM. Details about eCl@ss are available on their [main hompage|http://www.eclass.de/index.html/JTI2bGFuZyUzRGVuJTI2bmF2aWQlM0QzNzE3JTI2c2lkJTNEMWNkZDc0M2EyYTg1NmRhM2JkZWJlNGJiZDlkZDVhZDMlMjZiJTNE.html?no=intro].

Hi Michael,

Thanks for the response.

Lets say i have a situation where i need to migrate material data from sap r/3 system to MDM.

Now, as per your response i understood that there is no Table in 'sap r/3' which holds the data of eclass table in MDM.

these values should be manually added via data manager in MDM, is my assumption true??

Hi Phani,

yes, that's true. As eCl@ss data is provided externally (e.g. within a CSV or XML), you could import the data, too.
