Authorization Object For restrict Deletion of Original in CV02N

HI, DMS Experts

I have a requirement that a person requires to Edit Objectlink only, which he doesn't has no authorisation to create or change Document in DMS.

So i was thinking of creating a role for him by giving a change mode athourization to those doc types but then he also gets the authorization to change / delete the original,

Which he should not get.

So is there any athuo. Obj. to control Original where user can't delete or change who have authorization for editing only Object link

Suggestions welcome.

Hi Dave,

at the moment I can only recommend you to create your own authorization check with the help of BADI DOCUMENT_AUTH01. Because in the standard the users can always delete originals if they have change authorization for the document info record and there is no specific object just for handling the original files.
