Dear All,

I need to give HTTP connection to SAP so that they can check the bug in our BI Production system.

I know how to give SNC connection but my problem is that I donnot understand what is HTTP connection.

Can anyone help me know what is HTTP connection and how to give SNC connection to SAP.

I read SAP note "592085" but I am not able to understand this note.

Your help would be highly obliged.

Regards,

PG

hi,

Read it carefully... before going ahead you need to update your SAP router software according to sap note in (step 1) you have to start your saprouter with switch -L & an entry in saprouttab file as describe in note :

KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" <YOUR-IP> <YOUR-PORT>

Example:

"KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 10.10.1.1 50003"

Restart the router and start with above switch,

and in (step 2) ,

you need to login to service market place i.e (http://service.sap.com/serviceconnection) to maintain access data.

and proceed with the given instructions in note 592085 - Installing HTTP Connect service:

Still you are getting any errors please let us know.

For that you can give WTS connection to sap and then you can give sap the Windows host name and they can access the http connection from that windows host .

Thanks

Hi,

Is you are running the bi reports on portal side then you need open http connection to SAP.

Like R/3 connection in service market place , you have http connection option to open. create new http connection and mention your portal url to access your BI portal.

Thanks & Regards,
