HI All,

Actually i am blocked at a stage.

I ahve added one gif image in MIME folder under src......

Also i have added Image Element in View.

But i am unable to fill the alt as well as the source property for this element

Hi Sumesh Nair ,

1)Save the image in .jpeg or .bmp format.

2)Copy the image and Navigate to the Navigator tab there expand the project>src>mimes>components>under ur component and paste here.

3)create a image ui element and in the source property of element paste the name of the image.

4)Deploy and run the application.

Tried but not working.

What is the use of ALt field.

Also is there any way we can add Page Header to a view

Hi,

Alt field is just like text property of ant UI element.U can give any text there.

For page header u can have PageHeader ui element and can give the text property of it.

Why r u unable to give the property for source.u can just type the name of the image file with full extension.It will work out.

Hi,

Alt property is deprecated , instead u can use tool tip property to display the text.

if u added the image to your component mimes folder, then u will be able to set the property.

go to the source property of image ui element --> click on browse button --> select component image --> in the pop up window , the image which u have saved in component mimes folder will be displayed . select the image and click finish.

About page header, yes , we have a page header UI element.

Hi,

copy the image for eg: "test.jpg" into mime folder.

• in the image UI element source property field type as "test.jpg"*

Just deploy and run.
