IDES platform

Hi,

Does anyone know if IDES is available on other OS platforms & DB besides Windows & Oracle?

I remembered reading somewhere that it is only available in the Windows platform. Is that correct?

I'm keen on running IDES on AIX and MaxDB but not sure if this combination is available.

Hi,

The various Platforms available for the 4.6C IDES version 2 are as below:

UNIX, Linux, NT, Win2000 - Oracle....: DB: 32 GB

Linux - SAPDB.....: DB: 26 GB

NT, Win2000 - MSSQL 8...: DB: 22 GB

OS390, AIX, NT - DB2/OS390 (details see below)

So you can find the detals there .

I find that it can be installed on Windows,Linux,Solaris,Unix and AIX.

All can be installed on Oracel and DB2 and we have MS SQL additional database for Windows.
