I have an very full mountpoint /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGSnn (2% of total 2GB)

I wander what can be i(f anything) deleted in /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGSnn

I found out that /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGSnn/exe (1,8GB) has

kernel files, but they are not kernel as the content of kernel directory /(i.e. usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run) is not same

/usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGSnn/exe is your instance kernel directory

/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run is your global kernel directory (might point to /sapmnt/SID/exe)

The instance is started with your local instance directory, so you cannot delete it. If the contents differ you might want to check the sapcpe.log in the work directory. sapcpe is responsible to synchronize the global dir with the locals.

Best regards, Michael

Edit: btw, i am not sure if creating a link local_exe -> global_exe is supported for a central installation. but this should be possible.
