profitability analysis document for sales order on wbs element missing

Hello,

we need to create a debit memo on a project (WBS element).

We tried 2 scenarios now:

1. We went to VA01, created the debit memo request with an item that has a material number and a WBS element. We added a condition type with a price. Now we billed the document and released it to accounting. When we now look at the accounting documents, it shows all except the pa document. Is there some setting that triggers the creating of this document?

2 We went to VA01, created a debit memo request with an item that has only a WBS element. Now when we want to add a condition type, there is no selection available, the entire condition type screen is greyed out. Also the item category of the debit memo automatically changes to G2TX - Text item. So why can we not add a condition type here?

1) There's a whole COPA config to map Price Condition Types to COPA for PA reporting. Does this work on regular sales documents (ala no Networks - WBS elements)?

I am currently looking for remote work, am a SD consultant who just happens to have COPA config exprience as well, so I'd be glad to delve further into it for a minor fee
