Dear SDN Experts

The Two Envelope Functionality is configured as the following in the SRM system:

->SRM Server

->Procurement for Public Sector Functions

->Application Settings

->Tendering

->Two-Envelope RFx Response

->Define Basic Data for Technical RFx Response Folders

Define Basic Data for Technical RFx Response Folders :

COLLAB -> COLLABARATION

EVLUAT -> EVALUATION

EXTERN -> EXTERNAL

INTERN -> INTERNAL

BIDDER -> TECHNICAL BID

Could you please clarify some doubts regarding this functionality:

a) Do we need to create the bidder user ids in cfolders for a bidder to

create a technical bid?

b) Does the buyer need to assign authorizations in cfolders everytime he

creates a Tech RFx?

Thank you in advance for your further help!

create a technical bid?

Yes , you have create the bidder user ID in the c folder then only he can able to access the technical details in the C folders.

b) Does the buyer need to assign authorizations in cfolders everytime he

creates a Tech RFx?

The following roles are shipped with cFolders:

u2022 User

- Role name: SAP_CFX_USER

- Provides authorization to run cFolders in the Internet browser

- Assigned automatically to all users created in the cFolders application

u2022 Administrator

- Role name: SAP_CFX_ADMINISTRATOR

- Provides authorization to administer the cFolders application, plus the

authorizations of SAP_CFX_USER

- Must be assigned to the user who is to be the first to access cFolders
