Chinese Language Import in ECC 6.0 system issue

Hi,

Included new Chinese Language in TCode: I18N

I have imported Chinese Language using SMLT, also imported English Supplement to it.

Restarted the system after the Language import, but I am unable to login using Language ZH.

It displays choose one of the valid imported languages.

Kindly any one suggest if any important post steps to be performed to login sucessfully using Language ZH.

Hi,

you need to add the one-character language key to the profile parameter zcsa/installed_languages and restart the system.

Please find the below steps that you need to perform.

1. Execute the program RSCPINST in se38 first to install the language.

2. Insert the language and simulate.

3. Check the Simulation result and check that you donu2019t have error in it.Now Activate if no error.In the Activate and Sumilate result It will ask you set a profile parameter that you need to record it and can set once the language is implemented.

4. Now Create the language u2013 SMLT this is to be done in Client 000.You can select the supplement language as per your requirement.

5. Now Import the actual package.Login to client 000.Goto SMLT -> Choose Spanish -> Import packageType the path where the language file is loaded and click on 'Find Packages' then select the package, execute.

6. Once the language is imported then Import From Previously Applied Support Pack.you need to run the Run report: RSTLAN_IMPORT_OCS(Ensure you have extracted all support packages into EPS in directory).The system will tell you which items need to be imported!

7. Now Supplement the language.goto SMLT and click on the supplement the language button.

8. After that you will have to Transfer Language data from 000 to XYZ (e.g., 100)for thet you need to run the Report In client XYZ (100) run report RSTLAN_SUPPLEMENT_UNI.Press F8 -> choose Language thet you have applied as target language and choose 1st pushbutton "Client Maintenance with customizing tables.

9. Now you need to Supplement the language in XYZ Client i.e., 100 in SMLT.

Check your profile (rz10) and parameter zcsa_installed_languages = 1DEF... (1=> Chinese Simplified)

What platform, do you use?

in Solaris, some menu are still in english?
