Selection of fields from a view

We have view created on 4tables(past), in my enhancement of datasource is it better to select fields from View rather than a indivdual tables. If i do it from view will there be any problem with delta. As i don't want to use 4 select statements where i can get them in single select statement.

the field(s) in your enhancement will come from the 4 tables itself ? or another table ?

seems from these 4 tables, then why not add the field(s) to the view ? (se11 change the view).
