UWL manager substitution end date?

Hi,

I have a requirement to implement end date for manager substition in the UWL substition for ESS application, the standard behaviour does not allow end date to be put in during rule creation. The MSS manager has to turn off the rule after returning back from leave manually. The requirement I have is to have a end date during rule creation so the manager can set the start date and end date, is this possible? If possible, where and how do I do it? Please advice.

Has anyone come across this requirement before?
