Unable to add item to shopping cart. "Uncaught Exception" Dump

We have implemented SRM 4, Server 5.0.in classic a scenario. When we run the shop transaction nd complete a special request item. When we press to ADD ITEM TO SHOPPING CART, the system imidiately short dumps. message

UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION" CX_BBP_PD_ABORTC |

"SAPLBBP_PDH" or "LBBP_PDHU08"

"BBP_PD_ABORT"

Upon analysisn the dump message, we discovered that it had something to do with IPC. It appears that the IPC BADI is unabled in SRM by defalt whether you are using it or not.

Sandeep raised a similar post of the very same error back in April. Yann Bouillut suggested that since Sandeep's SRM was a classic scenario implemetation IPC was not required and should be deactivated.

Sandep/Yann or anyboy for that matter how does one deactivate IPC.

Please provide me step by step instruction to deactive IPC.

Thanks,

Grace

Hi,

you have to activate the simplified pricing BAdI.

Open the customizing tree (SPRO):

Under SRM Server-BAdIs-Pricing you can find the node 'Activate simplified pricing'. Just activate the BAdI and the IPC is bypassed.
