Dear Gurus,

I required the suggestion of the subject mentioned.

Why the field --2'nd field of G/L account is there in account determinatin.

If it is useful, where we are using

If not, please suggest its significance.

A bit of confusion is there.

Please throw some lights

Thanks

This is a Provisional Account. In the year starting a particular Value will be posted against Example EB, 1 lac per year, whereas in every month the EB charge is 10k, then in the year end it will be 1.2 lac, the diff 20 k will get posted against the EB account.

In the year end they will find the differentiate amount and post the difference if any or reverse it if it excess.

Hi

The second column for GL account in revenue account determination is used for functionalities like Revenue recognition to maintain the deferred revenues and for Rebates to maintain the accruals.

Thanks,

Sarat,

That account is used for specific condition type definitions, where posting to accrual account is activated. I have seems this used in the Rebate functionality.

Hope this helps.
