Connection between environments

Hi,

I want to transport the POS, PA, PBs, Data Views and macros from the Development to the Test environment.

The process I am doing is next:

1. Creating the order: /SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN >> I select the PA >> Goto >> Transport Connection

2. Release the order: Transport Organizer

3. Apply the order

The result shows that the transport was succesfull, but when I go to the Test environment I don´t see the POS, PA, PBs, Data Views and macros.

Is there something I am missing?

Look up the transport log for clues.

Use /SAPAPO/TSOBJ transaction to bundle DP objects in transport.

Remember for DP Planning Object Structure and Planning Areas - InfoObjects i.e. Charcateristics and Keyfigures are essential.

Enrue they have been transported first. In case of using /SAPAPO/TSOBJ transaction the associated infoobject will automatically get picked up and proposed in the transport.

Please try to transport it manually through /n/SAPAPO/TSOBJ and check.

/n/SAPAPO/TSOBJ is the transaction I get through /SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN >> I select the PA >> Goto >> Transport Connection

That´s the way I am doing the connection but it didn´t work.

Can you help me with it?

Hi,

Please check with the method I have suggested and confirm.

Is there any specific reason for transporting through /SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN, if not then try with /n/SAPAPO/TSOBJ which is manual transporting method.
