Support patches error

Hi ,

while appling support patches for solution manager from SAPKW70015 TO SAPKITL425 taking very long time.

when i checked in sm50 table REPOSRC is under update.

It may take more time if you have inadequate system configuration like RAM,CPU etc. Check the windows task bar and stop non relevant processes/applications if you can.

Hi,

Now i am getting abap dump as DDIC_TYPE_INCONSISTENCY error.

can anyone resolve this ASAP.

Hi Rupen,

If you see the details of this dump in ST22 then you will find some clue to resolve the issue.Again share some of the error details with us like "What can you do" & "error analysis" here in sdn.

Just stope SAP and run the database statistic:) its going to help you

Why stop sap? This will cancel your running processes and might be leading to a problem restarting SPAM. I never heard of anybody stopping SAP to collect database statistics...

What if the guy has an archiver stuck?

You'll have to be more specific than that?.... how many patches you put in the queue?, how long it has been running?, Errors in the logs (if any)?....

Please read the "Rules of Engagement" as there is not enough information on this thread.
