Retention Periods for Archiving and Deletion

Hi,

I have some doubts related to this.. We are configured the Archiving and Delete History entries, We didn't Scheduled the Delete job. Hence i Scheduled in Development..Also we are running many interfaces which are not marked for Archiving..

This is our configured retention period

XML Messages Without Errors Awaiting Deletion 1day

XML Messages Without Errors Awaiting Archiving 1day

XML Messages with Errors Awaiting Deletion 7day

XML Messages Without Errors Awaiting Deletion 0day

History Entries for Deleted XML Messages 30day

Now we are going to Schedule the delet job in Quality and Production, but i have some questions to answer

I. If i schedule the delete job, will all messages(Irrespective of the flagged interface for archiving) will delete the messages prior to 1days or 30 days

Because in our development system the same config we used, and it deleted messages prior to 60days..Weird ???

2. What is meaning of "XML Messages Without Errors Awaiting Deletion ", how messages are flagged ITFACTION=DEL in SXMSPMAST
