Allerts 0 % free space in file (.mdf file)

Hi!

We use SAP with SAP SQL Server

From tcode DB02_MSS we get several red alerts "no free space in file", meanwhile all the .mdf files have "Size limit (MB)" set on no limit.

Question:

Do we need to set for all the .mdf files the option "autogrow is on ..."?

If yes where can we find the appropriate documentation?

Any helpful information will be very appreciated!

Hi,

download this [document|http://download.microsoft.com/download/d/9/4/d948f981-926e-40fa-a026-5bfcf076d9b9/SAP_SQL2008_Best%20Practices_Part_I.docx] and search for autogrow.

Many thanks!

Unfortunately this document has extension .docx and cannot be open with MS Word.

The question still is:

Why I get alerts "no free space in file", meanwhile the "Enable autogrowth" in SQL Studio for the several .mdf files is activated?

Thank you!

...it can if you install the Office 2007 plugin for older versions
