Goods receipent must be changed in create SC

Hi Experts,

we are having classic scenario(SRM 5). we have requirement as stated below

when user X is creating a shopping cart , by default his name is appearing in goods recepient(Basic data tab.) when he tries to assign the actual goods recipient he is not able to find any user name in drop down.

do i need to add any roles for the actual recipient so that he can appear when Mr.X is creating a SC.

kindlu advise me how to proceed

Hope you might assigned to some department in org structure

if you are only one user , you may not get another good recipient

if you have two user then another user might help for godd recipient.

did you check?

in olden days srm requester attribute was used for two purposes one for on behalf of shoopiing and another one for make default good recipient.

no even if we are having 3 users under that department.while creating SC if i select the dropdown and enter the other user name in the search criteria it says no items found.

what does the statement " in olden days srm requester attribute was used for two purposes one for on behalf of shoopiing and another one for make default good recipient."

what is the current procedure to get that

you must get them as good recipient role.

requestor attributte can be utilised to make deault good recipient.old srm . dont confuse.

what the other users has role.

Users ahve only Employee roles.

Yes now they are getting as goodsrecipient in SC.I feel we dont even require the role goods receipent assigned to them.
