Dear Friends,
We are planning to imporvise the monitoring functionality of BW Process Chain Failures using Solution Manager.
Currently in our scenario, we have a custom developed functionality, where the Process chain failure in the respective system (BW) will trigger a mail. This mail will inturn be pickedup by XI and then a Support Desk ticket is created in Solution Manager using XI interface.
Now we are looking for a approach that, whether is there any feasiblity to develop the same functionality without having an XI interface.
We know that this can be achived using Solution manger BPM functionality
Due to performance issues our first priority is to explore whether is there any other posibility.
As all these Process Chain failures are monitored in CCMS of the rescpective Satellite system (BW System), Can we define an Auto reaction method, where the auto reaction method can create a support Desk Message in Solution manager?
Kindly give your inputs on the Approach.

Lohith, yes you can use the auto reaction method directly from CCMS. Try 'DSWP_ALERTS_SLF_MSG_SUBMIT' or 'Service_Desk_Mess_On_Alert '.
