Move Domain controller - different SAP release

Hi All,

Just wanted to clarify.... I was able to move domain controller from NW 701 system to a system with NW700. As per following sap help, we should not move transport to systems with different SAP releases.

I guess NW701 and NW700 are in the same release category...

will there be any issue because of this move ?

Well - not really.

Netweaver EHP1 uses a different kernel and a different SAP_BASIS and SAP_ABA.

Depending on what you transport you may not be consistent. I would highly avoid such configurations.

since we are at 700 release and we were able to move domain controller between 700 and 701 .
