Is there a way to install and run an instance of SAP on a home computer to use for sandbox purposes?

That functionality is not available as trial.

Hari,

SAP is the licensed software and not for home use. Usually we have a sandbox at workplace and assigned with some function within the sap landscape. You may want to download and install the trial version as mentioned in the earlier post.
