Question on backend contracts?

Hi friends

Backend contracts can be replicated from backend system using report BBP_CONTRACT_INITIAL_UPLOAD. Do we need to maintain the same settings as backend contracts in EBP system also in order to use backend contracts.

BBP_CONTRACT_INITIAL_UPLOAD this report help us to bring ecc contract to srm .in ECS scenario. once replication done you must lock/ delete the ecc contract .

otherwise it make mess your system.

If we delete the backend contracts in ECC after replicating, then would there be any problem for EBP contracts replicated from ECC.

One more question In ECS can SC's refer to backend contracts as source of supply

Hi

in ECS ,your local contract (which you transfered from backend) is a source of supply not backend contract .

if you no longer use backend contract you can delete but check with some experts.

Is there any difference between local contracts(created from backend system) and local contracts created in EBP

you tell me. what is the use . you can use backend contract too . but you will find difficulty during audit tme. if you dont lock contract . some mm people use those contract.

Can we create VL for this EBP contracts(replicated from backend systems) in ECS because VL is created for Backend contracts only.

vendor list with local contract not possible in srm. though transfered from ecc. now your transfered contracts treats like local contract

vendor list - material /product category with vendor is possible.
