How to assign a maintenance project tot a solution

Hi,

Were busy with setting up CSOL without full Charm functionality.

Im wondering how to assign a maintenance project tot a solution. I have no problem assign an implementation project to a solution, but when i try to do the same for a maintenance project I get the error SPROJECT414:

Maintenance projects can only be assigne in the solution

Go to the attributes of a solution and assign the maintenance project there

Im not sure at this moment if I need to assign the maintenance project to a solution at all. And if it is necessary how I should do it?

via transaction SOLMAN_WORKCENTER

- run transaction SOLMAN_WORKCENTER

- choose tab "SAP Solution Manager Administration"

- choose view "Solutions"

- choose the required solution in table

- choose "Goto -> Solution Settings"

- scroll down to area "Assigned Maintenance Project"

Via transaction SOLUTION_MANAGER

- run transaction SOLUTION_MANAGER

- open the solution

- choose "Solution Landscape" in left navigation

- choose "Solution Landscape Maintenance"

- choose tab "Solutions Setting"

- scroll down to area "Assigned Maintenance Project"
