IPC Web applications Post Installation Check

Former Member

Dear friends,

We successfully installed IPC Web applications includes SAP J2EE,JCO,SDM deployment for JBassis and IPCSP09.

We edited file

cluster\server\services\servlet_jsp\work\jspTemp\ipc\root\ipc\examples\command.html.

as per the document given ipc port, host, ipc dispatcher and saved. We opened thro the same file thro IE we are getting the following the error.

Application cannot be startetContext parameter 'customer.config.path.xcm.config.isa.sapmarkets.com' is not maintained in web.xml.For further information see the description of the parameter and the installation guide.

Ideally when you open the file,a page should be displayed without errors.

We are not sure were went wrong?

All check list are working as per the document.

Your help will be highly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Regards,

muki

HI Muki

my procedure only for WebAs 6.40.

if u r using webas 6.20 than check the following URL

Navigate to the following addresses:

http://<SAP_J2EE_Engine_host>:<SAP_J2EE_Engine_http_port>/ipc http://<SAP_J2EE_Engine_host>:<SAP_J2EE_Engine_http_port>/csr

http://<SAP_J2EE_Engine_host>:<SAP_J2EE_Engine_http_port>/ipcpricing http://<SAP_J2EE_Engine_host>:<SAP_J2EE_Engine_http_port>/tteanalysis

In each case you should get presented a directory structure.

if any error occured than there is problem with configuration.

u provide me ur mail i'll send u the IPC web application configuration document or u can download it from service.sap.com

and one more thing the IPC XCM configuraion is not needed fr using IPC in CRM Intenet sales if u used?

in webas 6.20 all xcm configuration must be perform during deployment time.

if u have any query revert me back.

Hi Kaushal,

we are using CRM 4.0,we have downloaded products from r/3 which are configurable products also.

we want to see configuration of the prodoct, started the installation of IPC and Webas6.20 for ipc.

Even the docunet says IPC 4.0 Web applications, it's typical installation of Webas.

hope this helps you understand on the issue.

Hi Muki

IPC Web application only needed if u use Internet sales web application for CRM.

for CRM online (CRM system) u need only ipc server.

if u use any of CRM web application than u need IPC web application.

download the CRM best practise from service.sap.com

which is so use full for configuration/customizing.

or access it from help.sap.com-> sap best practise-> cross industry packages ->customer relationship management

this document really helps u.

close this forum.

any query revert back.

Hi Kaushal,

You are right IPC Web application required for CRM online scenario. as i stated we need show confugurable product, the confuguration will run like web application(confirmed those implemented).

As in IPC server 4.0 suggested for activating the web ui,we need to do IPC Web application installation guide.

Hi MUKI

it's ok that IPC server 4.0 suggested for activating the web ui.

now my question is which CRM WEB application u used do display confugurable product?

or how can u display confugurable product ON WEBUI?

i think u might confused.

is u develop ur own application that display the configurable product?

Hi Kaushal,

Your guess is correct,we migh confused as such there is any standard document for showing the configurable product in CRM for win client.

We understood that IPC used for config, pricing and tax.

hi muki

use the following tranasaction in crm win client product

commpr01

u need only configure the IPC Server.
