Risk Terminator task in Backend will generate dumps on GRC server?

Hello Experts,
Just want to clarify one issue, when running risk terminator on the backend server (unix platform), will it generate core.xxx.dmp files in the GRC system directory? As after we run a risk terminator UAT on our backend, i found that the /usr/sap/<SID> directory suddenly runs out of space, and i find its because of the core.xxx.dmp, is it related?
And, can i remove the core.xxx.dmp? will it affect the system if i do that?

I could not do so as our system is AS JAVA, is there any other way for that?
