Disable Applications in J2EE

Hello,

is it possible to disable applications running in the SAP J2EE? Means disable this application to prevent startup at the next system start?

Specially I want to disable the local SLD running on the J2EE.

Is this possible?

Thanks a lot for your responses.

Best Regards,

Andreas

Hi,

You can do it with the config tool. Switch to the "editor" mode, then go to cluster data --> server --> cfg --> services. You will find the property sheets of the applications. If you make double click on them, you can see the start-up mode. You can set it to 'manual', so that the service is not started automatically by the system.

Stopping the portal was no problem, but SLD still starts.

Anyway we will not investigate furhter.
