Dear expert,

Yesterday, i did a ecc5.0's system copy with clone. That means copy sap+oracle from one machine to another .

The result is ok. But, when i check parameter with Tcode TU02. I found the following parameters changed. Why appeared this

things? Please give me a explain?

Changed parameters were:

FT_DLL_PREFIX lib

csi/SAP/csa_lib /usr/sap/TGP/SYS/exe/run/libsapcsa.sl

csi/enable 0

dbs/db4/dbsl_buffersize

dbs/db4/driver_type

dbs/db4/xdn_port

dbs/db4/xdn_trace_file

icf/ssocookie_mandatory 0

ict/disable_cookie_urlencoding 0

itsp/sessionid_path_position 1

rdisp/check_enq_wp_run 0

rdisp/check_hold_enq 0

rdisp/force_rollin false

rfc/inb_sched_resource_threshold 0

sapsystem <<parameter inactive>>

stat/externalize/enabled 0

stat/externalize/regdir /usr/sap/tmp/extstat

vsi/disable 0

vsi/enable 1

Exactly i did nothing except copy the source profile. Please let me see.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

After the system copy, did you cleanup the profile tables?

The tables associate with the profile parameters are TPFET and TPFHT.

These tables should be cleaned up as part of the system copy procedure(see post tasks in homogeneous system copy guide).

So these changes are coming from your source system.

Cleanup the entries in those tables and then import the profiles again from RZ10.

Let me know if it resolves.

Thank you for your answer. But according to my plan, my source system had no changes in profile. why were there changes

in the target profiles? Moreover, these parameters were not usually seen.

I didn't pay attention to the parameters you sepcified initially.

IN TU02-> history, you can see the all the parameters applicable to the system will be shown and the date changed column always changed to the date of the system copy date incase of system copy unless any manual changes happened and for any other systems, its installation date unless any manual changes happened.

The parameter values you mentioned are default values, which you often wont change unless its applicable.

Also you can verify the parameter changes mentioned in this message may not be in the default or instance profile or in RZ11.

I hope this clarifies.

What method did you use for your system copy?...

Could be that those parameters where set to standard.

sap instance copy from source system:

oracle instance restore and recovery.
