Hi All,
How to delete or cancel TBDL messages in Integration Engine (IE).I deleted all the workitem for the corresponding TBDL messages still I can see few messages in TBDL in Message monitoring .
Please suggest what to do to delete at database level or cancel these messages
Thanks in Advance
Hi,
In addition with Sarvesh solution.
Please restart the communication channel from ID once by doing dummy changes in configuration.
Then first delete the system error message from RWB.
Then restart the TBDL messages.
All will come in system error status one by one or at a strach.
Then delete the rest system error messages.

The key point is to check all the message which are into System Error state, First you cancel them (select the filter critera quite big for this) and then deal with TBDL messages.

HI ,
TBDL means To Be Delivered. Please resend this message first , which will fail this message and will bring it in System Error. Then you can cancel it from RWB in Message Monitoring.

Hello
@ Anurag : its not possible ,even if we restart ,it will remain in TBDL state.
@ Sarvesh : How to handle this ...
1)Could any one suggest how to cancel / delete the TBDL at Database level ...
2)can any one suggest what are the tables associated with IE .So that I will write a query to cancel TBDL messages.
Thanks in Advance.

Vidya
As I said before in my previous reply that you have to delete first System Error state messages. While deleting, first delete the oldest message otherwise you may not be able to delete them. (initially try one by one and start with multiple selection). Once you are sure that all System Error state message have been deleted then TBDL message will start processing by itself.
P.S. Make sure all queues are clear (SMQ1 & SMQ2).
Please have a look at the blog below:

Vidya,
Is your system configured as HA ?
Do you frequently see messages in To Be Delivered status ?
Do you notice messages in tbd for all interfaces or for interfaces using a specific adapter type ?
tbd is generally caused by insufficient threads or by blocked threads in the MS.
Did you check the thread usage ?
I have seen that restart of the j2ee always helps in such cases or you can try by restarting the XI AF messaging service.
I think it would be better if you open a message with SAP so that they can find out the root cause.
