SDM locked

Hi,

i give 3 times wrong SDM password. It was locked.

How it can be unlocked?

Hi

Just restarting SDM should fix the issue.

You can do this from SAP Management Console:

Steps to follow:

1. Start the SAP Management Console by choosing Start --> Programs --> SAP Management Console.

2. Select the Tree tab.

3. From the tree, choose SAP Systems--> <SID> --> <SAP_Web_AS_Java_Instance> --> Process Table

4. Select the SDM process and right click and click Restart Process

Hi,

In the Portal Any password is locked it will be locked for 24 hrs.after 24 hrs it will work fine.

otherwise

Just restart the cluster dats it.

Hi

If the SDM passowrd is locked we cannot unlock it,rather we have to reset it.

you can ask u r basis people to unlock the sdm password

it comes under the visual adminstration ....
