We are trying to use Visual Composer for pulling up queries from BI.

So,the BI system is created in Portal and we are able to get connected to BI system via Visual Composer.

What are the roles should the VC developers be given in Portal ?

Roles needed for VC developer are;

1.Super Administrator Role

2.VC Role

3.Standard User Role

I have seen in articles as well that we need to give "Super Admin Role"

But, we don't want to give Super Admin Role to VC developers just to enable them use BI.

They could do anything with Super admin role. Is there any other way to do it ?

Hi

You can do one thing. Create his user ID & give him the admin role. But you just send the link of the deployed model & let the user access that. Also You can place the link on 'Enterprise portal' as iView & give the display access to the user. This display role is standard role & your portal administrator will guide you for this.

We have LDAP environment and I am the administrator, i don't want to give VC developers Super admin role just to use BI queries in VC.

Giving the portal roles to the end users are different. but, i am trying to avoid giving super admin role to VC developers..

Visual Composer Developers have nothing to do with Portal. Then why to give Super Admin Role?

Des anybody have a solution for this? Thanks...

We are unable to pull up the queries in VC 7.1. There is no option to "Look for Query" ( like in VC 7.0 )

Its showing only BAPI/RFC...How do we enable VC 7.1 to get the queries from BI ?

Any suggestions...?
