Partial Inspection Lot for In-Process Inspection

Dear Experts,

I am having a scenario where I need to have partial lots for in-process inspection.

Case is :

I have a SFG & FG.

While processing the FG order ( as it is a packaging line) FG is produced continuosly. But the Inprocess Inspection is also not being completed. The FG produced is required for dispatch. But I cannot do the FG order confirmation without completing the 03 & 04 Inspection lots. But as the production is still running,How to take care this scenario in SAP.

Please Advice.

Hi

As per understanding you are talking about 03,04 & 10 Inspection type.

Now as you said You can not complete the inprocess inspection but still FG produced is required for dispatch.

Actually this is not std SAP flow.

You can not do PGI in FG untill & unless stock is boosted in FG by making GR.so you have to take the UD for all lots produced in 04(or 03).So at the most what you can do fro result recording make all char Long term inspection (this will solve your inspection problem).

but stock posting for 03 or 04 you can not avoid.
