Software Componenet not Found

Hello Everybody,

I am very new to MI and not sure how to proceed.

Please help out here.

I have created Software component, Data Object and the Distribution Model.

When I am trying to create the Mobile app for Laptop project ,

development component and I am not able to see my Software Component which

I created in the MI server.

Can someone tell me where am I going wrong and what I have to do differently.

Please help.

Hello Sneha,

I think you are facing problem while creating application using NWDS IDE.

you can follow the following steps to do the connection settings

Go to NWDS-> go to windows menu-> Preferences-> here you can set the connection setting to middleware(DOE server) to get all SWCV and data objects

if you are using backward compatible SWCV you can click on MDK here to set the server settings. with MDK tool only backward compatible applications can be created

If the SWCV is not backward compatible-> expand MOBILE ->expand GENERAL ->click on Data orchestration engine and click on add and provide the connection details to middle ware(DOE).

Hi Sneha,

If i have got you correctly, you are trying to create the mobile application using NWDS(NetWeaver Developer Studio).

If this is true, then you will have to set the connection preference first of your DOE server. If the connection settings are proper then only you will be able to see the SWCVs available on the DOE server.

Kindly check the connection preferences (which also involves server host,port, username and password).

Hi Sneha Singh,

After u deployed ur sca file in Server,U need to add the application to ur device in NWA.

Then from client sync three times to get application.
