How to install SAP ECC6 in UNIX

HI all,

I am new to UnixOS. i want to install sap ecc6 in a unix OS. Can anyone give some step by step instructions to install UNIX OS in the server and steps to install SAP.

It will be great if someone help me doing this.

You will encounter issues if you don't get latest guide and sap note form SAP. Just my 2 cents

can you share the document which you used for installation, because we are planning to install NW 7.3 with DB2 Database in unix system.

"UNIX" is a term for a family of operating systems complying a standard.

There are various of them and some of them are supported as an OS for SAP installation (HP-UX, AIX, Solaris).

All installation guides are step-by-step, however, you need to understand them.
