Does MAM handle Real Time Connected Mode

Looking through the mobile asset management doco - it appears to only handle disconnected (batch) mode of communications.

Can MAM be run in real time connected mode?

Hi Matthew,

MAM application runs on MI. In MI, you can work in both connected and disconnected mode. However, to synchronize ie. to send data from MI client to the MI server, you need the client to be connected to the server.

I am aware that MI supports Connected and Disconnected mode. However i believe that each application is written as either a disconnected app or a realtime app. I get the feeling from the doco that MAM is written as a disconnected app, and hence the sync step is always necessary and the data is always cached and hence not realtime.

Can anyone confirm that MAM only works in disconnected mode?
