Budget Utilisation

Hi Gurus,

When we are giving Budget (for eg. 100/-) and if I maintained tolerance limit to 100% (error message) & 90% (warning message), system allows me to use upto 100/-. Whereas, if I had spent 70/- and try to return 30/- system gives an error message BP 613 (budget almost exhausted) and it allows only return of 20/- (till the time I make it 20%, it keeps on giving this error message). To put it simply, system ensures that the assigned funds are only 90% and not 100%.

Why this error is occurring ? If I had maintained the Tolerance limit to 100% then why system is not allowing to return the entire unspent amount ?

Thanks for your reply.

Actually, my query is when I have a budget of 10,000, why system is not allowing to go beyond 9000(I am raising a PR) and there are no further commitments / assigned funds. After 90%, it gives the message BP-613 : Budget is almost exhausted. It is allowing only 90% of consumption though the tolerance limits are maintained at Error at 100% and warning at 90%.
