HR Headcount

Dear all,

I've loaded the 0Employee master data for all employees from SAP R/3. Also I've loaded the infocube 0PA_C01 which has the emp actions and headcount. Now, I'm building a query on this cube to display the headcount first by Personal sub area (Various Units) and then which can be further drilled down to Employee group and employee subgroup level.

But the problem I face here is that the users wants to enter the date range for which they want the headcount. It can be one month or 15 days or a year or etc.. Can anyone please suggest a way by which I can do this. Which is the Object that needs to be added to the filter that would help me achieve this?

Hi sam

if i understand ur question correctly

u can do that by using the infoobject used to store date like 0calmonth,0calday etc.,

This can be done by creating variable.

go through these threads on variables

if u haven't understand, let me know

Hi Kiran,

I knew this. But this doesn't solve my problem.I know to use variables to filter based on time. But the headcount figure is the same.

My requirement is something like this.

Filter criteria: 01 Jan 2006 - 31 Jan 2006

Headcount: 500

Filter criteria: 01 Feb 2006 - 28 Jan 2006

Headcount: 450 (assuming 50 had withdrawn)

This filter criteria must be made enabled.

Kindly advise.
