Hello All,

I am facing a problem when importing configurations. I logged into JDI and its sucessful.

After that, in the DC perspective in Local Dc window, I tried to right click and click on import configuration and select remote, it gives me the following error.

No configurations on server or server error.

Please provide me the solution.

Thanks

Satish

All others are able to login and import configurations. problem is only for me.

We all are using the same ID/PWD also.

Is there any chance of issue with NWDS Version, because the version they are using is different from the version which i am using

Please reply

Thanks

HI,

i dont think NWDS version will be a problem.

Just to confirm, ask your other team member who is able to import in thier PC to try logging with thier credentials in your NWDS.

so that we can think of other solution.

Satya.

Hi Satya,

As i said we are using the same ID/PWD, still i am getting the same error.

I searched in forums with same error and i found two forums with same question. They are able to solve the issue but they didnt post the answer in the forms.

Could you please help me in solving this

Thanks

Hi,

I hope you are able to ping the SLD server from your NWDS. Ensure the url you have given points to the SLD used for importing configuration because the url u gave might be existing but there might not be any configuration in that.chack the spelling properly comparing with other's.

wat is the version of NWDS you are using compared to others?

have you tried reinstalling the NWDS ?

Satya.

Hi Satya

I am able to ping SLD Server. I tried reinstalling NWDS also, but it didnt worked.

I am using NWDS 7.0.11 where as others are using 7.0.14.

Not able to understand where could be the problem.

Thanks

HI,

Do you have any specific reason for using 7.0.11 version of NWDS?

if not y dont u update to 7.0.14

as i dont see any other reason for u not able to import the configuration.

HI,

in NWDS, goto windows>preferences->JAvaDevelopemntInfrastrucrture-->click on Developement Configuration

there give the url for the sld for importing the configuration.

eg: http://<hostname>:portnumber>;

click on ok.

Satya.
