BAPI_BUS2001_SET_STATUS usage

Hi friends

Can you please tell me how to use the BAPI - BAPI_BUS2001_SET_STATUS. I created a project with 4 user status and when I am trying to change the user status from say 2 to 3, it is giving error message. Do we need to input system status for this?

Do you get the same problem, if you change the status in the transaction, e.g. CJ20N?

Hi

The error message is CNIF_STATUS message class and 005 number.

When I am doing it manually, there is no problem. But I wanted to do it with BAPI.

And let me know can we change the status CRTD (created) using this BAPI?

Please explain how to proceed with this BAPI step by step..

I donot get, what do you mean with the action:

The status 'CRTD' is set automatically by system and can never be set manually?

If you set a user-status, it does not replace this system status. What you can do is to change it to other system status, e.g. from Created -> released.
