Hi
I am installing Solution Manager 7.0 (EHP1) on Windows 2008 SP2 (AMD 64) / Oracle 10g on VMWare. I am using a ID which is part of the Administrators group. The system is NOT part of a domain. On running the Oracle Installation (sapserver.cmd), I encounter this error.
Window Title : Oracle Universal Installer
"Error in accessing system registry. You may not have enough permissions to modify registry. Installation cannot continue"
Any idea on why this might come up. Ideas are appreciated.
thanks
Ravi
Disabling user access admin from control panel / users fixed this
