Master data copy

Dear Guru's,

Can we copy master data (Customer Master/ Material Master/ Pricing master) from one client to another. If so can you please guide me how to address this issue.

Since my basis consultant has refreshed development client with Golden client and all the tasks (TR tasks) are copied from Golden client to development client and the available masters are removed. There is a backup taken for development client but, would like to get only master data back and all configuration tasks to be in sync with Golden client.

Please help me with any feasibility available in system

Hello,

You cant transport master data from one client to another instead you can download the details from the Customer tables and Upload them using LSMW or BDC

Since the MASTER DATA is client dependent u cant transfer.

Hi

if i am not wrong Master data is uploaded..thru LSMW.,BDC ..

its not copied..

and u can use SCC1 to copy the TR from one client to another..so after realsing the TR ur basis team caan use STMS to upload firther.
