Hi,

We maintain the cost profile in SNP PPM, but have noticed that the CIF clears it out.

is there a way to protect it?

Regards,

Zeeshan.

Hi Zeeshan,

Being CIF a standard SAP functionality, it will overwrite the

data based on new data.

I would suggest you look into the possibilities of customising

it by freezing the values of cost profile by applying some

custom code.

Hi Zeeshan

I think the best is to implement the logic for cost update directly in an exit.

For example on R/3 side with exit EXIT_SAPLPGS1_001 (smod > CIFPPM01)

Else you should be able to block the update in APO with the following exit EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_PPM_001 (smod > APOCF012)

i hope it helps

Thanks and Regards
