saphostexec -upgrade

hi guys,

Does anybody how to check the version of current SAPHOSTAGENT installed.?

i want to upgrade the new patch of hostagent. anybody know how to do it.?

I tried saphostexec -install itself but not sure how to check the version for that now.

Not sure but did you try executing saphostexec without any switches?

Already i tried executing saphostexec -install , it looks like its updated but not sure how to check its upgraded or not.

Please share the command to find the current version of saphostagent?

I tried with the saphostexec -status but its giving errror as

ERROR => Failed to resolve the own path. [HostExecArgu 312]

Do respond if you have any info related to this.

o Open directory where SAPHostAgent is installed (example: on Windows system u2013 C:\Program

Files\SAP\hostctrl\exe).

o Run following shell command:

saphostctrl.exe -function ExecuteOperation -name versioninfo
