Shopping Cart status stays as "Awaiting Approval"

Hi Gurus,

We are using the No Approval workflow for Shopping cart creation.

But on creation, the shopping cart stays in "Awaiting Approval" status.

We are trying this out in IDES SRM 5.0 system.

Can anyone please let us know where to look for the cause of this issue.

Hi Srini,

please check the workitem of the SC in the SWI1. If you can see there the message BBP_WFL 052, please do the manual activities descried in the note 1233774 (even, if you are already over the SP given in the note).

Retest with a new SC.

Hi Peter,

Checked SWI1 and found errors in that. Have updated the table as per the note 1233774 and tried creating a new SC.

But unfortunately we are in the same state.

More detail on the error:

An exception with the type CX_SY_DYN_CALL_ILLEGAL_ FUNC occurred, but was neither handled locally

Work item 000000190755: Object CL_BBP_ACTION_NOTIFICATION_WF method SEND_PARAM_MESSAGE_WF cannot

The calling of the object method for the work item ended with a return value for which no handling is modeled in the workflow.

Also check the binding between the task container and the method container.

Have you setup the customizing SPRO in Cross-Application Basic Settings > SAP Business Workflow > Define Recipient of Notifications?

Hi Srini,

Befor implementing the note as suggeted by Peter Pleasealso verify the customization settings "SAP Business Workflow => Define Conditions for Starting Workflows". You may check the workflow log in SWI6 as well to see what is happening with the Shopping cart.

Hi Sachin,

Thanks for your response.

In the Conditions for Starting WF setting, NO APPROVAL for SC is activated and all other WF related to SC are inactive.

And in SWI6, I could see error for all the SC created by me. It gives the status as ERROR and under Task: IDES No approval for Shopping Cart.

What is your suggestion on this.
