QM - Master data and mandatory

Hi,

I am new to QM . I would like to know the list of master datas in QM . Also i would like to know the order in which the master data to be loaded manually or through BDC in ECC6.0. Mention the list of business process applicable.

1. Material Master (QM View) (LSMW)

2. Inspection Method (LSMW)

3. Master Inspection Characteristics (LSMW)

4. Sampling Procedure (LSMW)

5. Inspection Plan (BDC)

These five master data objects are normally used. If results recording is not there in SAP, no need to have inspection plan master data object.

03 - Equipment Task List - IA01/IE01

04 - Maintenance Plan - IP41

05 - Catalogs - QS41 (Part of Config)

06 - Selected Sets - QS21

07 - Inspection Method - QS31

08 - Sampling Procedure - QDV1

09 - Master Insp. Char. (MIC) - QS21

10 - Sampling Scheme - QDP1

11 - Sample Drawing Proc. - QPV2

12 - Inspection Plan - QP01

13 - COA Profile - QC01

14 - Q-Info Record - QI01

15 - Dyamic Modification Rule - QDR1

etccc......

The solution to ur question can be explained in a single thred. I will first recomend you to go through SAP help first.

Any way if u want the sequence of master data creation then create as follows

1) Inspection method

2) Sampling scheme

3) Sampling procedure

4) Class characteristics

5) Catalog and selected set

6 ) MIC

7) Inspection plan
