I am trying to build the package for the Mobile Infrastrucutre to deploy DB2E as referenced in this link:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/5f/9ca8420649c511e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
When I get to step 3 to add a J2EE engine It wont let me add my MI Java server. The error I am getting is:
Server <hostname> did not accept login request on port 50000 - Connection between SDM client and server is broken
What I am wondering is if I need to connect this to a NWDI system. I did not install DI when I built my Java stack but everything I am reading about and SDM client seems to be rerencing the need for NWDI. I am not really doing development, only deploying a package for MI, so I didnt think I would need NWDI. Am I misreading this error? Is there another way to deploy my pacakage?
Thanks,
Lee
Hi Lee
You specified your J2EE port, please specify the SDM port. The easiest to check this is to start the SDM GUI "\usr\sap\<SID>\<INSTANCE>\sdm\program\sdm.bat" click on connect then copy the port number.
You must then use this port number.
